    Default Bluebacks

Anyone getting into the spring fish yet? Seems like the flows are high but maybe if you can find the right water, you can get into some fish. Any ideas if/when the flows are supposed to come down some more?

    Good luck out there!

Haven't heard any reports yet but they gotta be in there! Wet waded on Friday and only got one chunky golden bone. There is defiantly some fishy water out there.

This is the time of year for Bluebacks/wild spring run steelhead, along with spring run Halfpounders.

How cold was the water? I was just thinking it might be time to hang up the waders for the year.

Moose, I didn't take its temperature but definitely manageable wet wading! However I didn't wade in up to the boys ,now that might be a different story

Yep, if you want to convince yourself it's time to wade wet keep the boys high and dry. Their power of veto is overwhelming.

Fair oaks it's 51-52*...... Going further up it cools down more. Maybe 45-47* a bit much for me personally. I have summer type waders a thinner material Remington brand. But once it's a steady 75* and not much cold wind wet wading is nice!

Mark, you can just about wade out to the middle of the river before you get the boys wet... Us short guys can barely get in the water before they're submerged.
