    Beautiful.......

When I first started working in a sporting goods store in the 1960s the old classic streamers were still popular.

They were tied on 6x long, down eye, Limerick bend bronze hooks.

The Black Ghost, the Grey Ghost, Edison Tiger, Coachman, Mikey Finn, Black Noise Dace are just a few.

The Woolly Bugger put many of these old patterns out of business.

I use a Black Ghost often on the Truckee, esp spring when the water has runoff tint. Likelwise I use a Spruce in the fall. Love classic streamers!

    Thumbs up Old Timey Flies....

SST Flies,.... Good looking classic streamer patterns. Caught a couple of nice Black Bass on a classic Black Ghost streamer many years ago. Have you ever met Mike Martinek (east coast classic streamer fly tyer)???
