If you are so inclined, I can teach you how to tie a clouser with a rattle. It isn't very difficult. I instruct fly tying at Kiene's Fly Shop after work. My fee is 40 dollars for a two hour one-on-one class. A rotary vise is great but not necessary. A non rotary Griffin would work. It cost around 40 to 55 dollars for the tool. Yes Andy, I know you give lessons. i will have to do that in the near future. I,m thinking of getting a tying kit. I'm layed up with a bad foot so I figure it will give me something to do for now.
