hey guys,

im fishing my first tournament this weekend, its the FLW tour college series, where i will be competing on one of a few teams from sac state!

roosevelt lake, az here i come.

cant wait to see the weird looks i get from the gear heads. gotta love the sage largemouth rods

Good luck down there. I've been watching some of the college tourneys on the outdoor channel. Those guys really have a good time. Kinda makes you wish they had tourneys like that back when I was in college...

Yea, I also watched a college tourney on Versus. The Sac State team had one of it's guys get hooked in the head and they still won the tourney! If Sac State would have had a college bass fishing team when I went there, I never would have graduated!

it was really tough. rained on us pretty much the whole time. i got one nice grab with the fly rod but needed to put fish in the boat so i picked up my finesse stick and did some dropshotting. ended up taking 24th place
