    Default Rubicon???

Of course I have a day to fish this weekend and everything seems to be blown! Anyone know what condition the Rubicon is in right now? I think it may be my last resort, although not a bad one. As usual PM's welcome.

Take this with a grain of salt. I had a non-fly fisherman tell me that the river was flowing like crazy and he wasn't able to catch anything. He is a casual fisherman, so you may fair better.

I was up there last weekend and it was screaming. It wasn't really wadeable, and I had the river pouring into my waders in certain sections. The fishing was fair, but the high volume prevented casting across the river. Not to kill your buzz but I don't think it's going to come into form for at least another month.

was on the south fork of the rubicon today. flows were not as high as expected. brought a few wild fish to hand, was out bushwacking, scouting some lakes for fish. it was hot at 6500ft. good day though, dogs loved it
