No Stripes in the American Sunday
Spent Sunday morning searching for stripes in the lower A between Cal Expo and Highway 160--took out an acquaintance for a test ride in my 12-foot Gregor I am hoping he will buy.
Cold Start--high 30's at Discovery Park at 8:00 a.m., but it warmed up to a very sunny and pleasant 55 in the air. Water was in the 49 to 50 range and crystal clear in the A (the Sac looked like chocolate milk).
Unfortunately, no bumps, no spooks, no nothing--except floating over a big school of Squawfish in shallow water. Talked to a few other fishermen who reported a similar lack of results.
Anybody out there having better luck?
Mike
