    Default Lake Alpine Report

    Fished Lake Alpine Saturday Oct 3 on float tubes. Moderately windy, but fishable. We focused on the area near the dam because the dam blocked the wind and you didn't have to kick like crazy just to stay in one place. Only got one hit on a Humpy. Not a bump on sub-surface flies. Talked to one guy caught 6 fish on olive buggers. Bait dunkers on shore caught a few. Maybe the drop on barometric pressure from the storm last night put them off. Water is very cold.

    Is it true that there are goldens in Lake Alpine?

    If you're referring to Lake Alpine on hwy 4, then no.

    Yes. My report is for Alpine on HWY 4. No goldens to my knowledge.
