Two rods on the boat. A father and son. Son is very much a beginner flyfisher and needed some casting instruction and help getting "up to speed".

One rod gets some Lm Bass and some lookers.

The other rod gets some eats. All on top. ...His largest 3 fish ever by a longshot.

I think i spoiled him.

I walk away with the pleasure of helping a young man experience the game at a fine level and some good eats of my own.... A case of the freshest, sweetest eats from the Delta.

I can only imagine how special that must be for you as well as your clients.I am hopeful that you recognize how lucky you are to be able to make a living creating experiences like that for people.When I compare it to what I do for a living,( managing large commercial construction projects) I feel like I should just slit my wrists and get it over with.

I am glad that you have the knowledge and the drive to be what you are to the fly fishing community.Your committment to the top water game gets all my respect. I don't think there is anyone around that knows it better, or is more committed and therefore more successful at it than you. You are a lucky guy to make a living at it.

Kevin gave me brain damage last fall by introducing me to top water stripers. Now my wife is convinced I'm knuts! it's hard to shake the disease he keeps spreading , good work KD.
