Mint Bauer MZ5 black frame with bronz spool. $240 + shiping. Bought in 2008 for steelheading and only used once. There are no marks on the frame or spool. Lighter, larger diameter, and more backing capacity than a Tibor Everglades or Abel Super 8.

MZ5 for 8-9 wt lines.
4.0" diameter
7.5 oz.
Capacity: 200 yds 30# SW Micron with WF9F or Shooting heads and running line.

I've used this same reel ever since it came out. It gets a great work out in baja. I load it with 30lb backing, 150' of 30lb Amnesia and LC-13. Has never failed me yet.
Actually, this is reel that I hooked the 75lb + rooster on a couple years ago. I also use it for stripers.

Those of you who are looking for a good Baja reel, I would really think about it. Another good thing - if something minor goes wrong while you're there, I can fix it. I carry all the spare parts for the Bauer MX & MZ series
