This month’s casting clinic will meet on Saturday, October 18, 2025, starting promptly at 9:00 AM. The Clinic will be offered at Sierra Meadows Park in Rocklin, located at 2530 Sierra Meadows Ave.

This clinic will be open to casters of all skill levels - novice through advanced - we will work with each of you at your own pace. For those interested in the FFI Casting Skills Development Course, we will have a measured course set up for instruction and practice.

Please come 20/30 minutes early if you would like assistance rigging your rod. If you don’t have a rod, please advise and we will provide a loaner. For practice, we recommend a 5wt to 7 wt rod, with a floating line, and 7.5-foot, 2x leader. Yarn should be used in place of a hook.

The grass can be very wet so consider wearing water-resistant footwear.
