Loreto update Monday 5/13/24:

All is good in Loreto. We have high 80s and low 90s and getting warmer everyday. Talked to my fishing Captain this AM and he told me the harbor is overflowing with sardines. They are also along the beaches and infested in all the coves around the islands. There are Roosters everywhere and more showing up each day.
As of a few weeks ago lots of the smaller Dorado were being caught as well as lots of Roosters, however not sure if those were on the fly. Sunday (yesterday) my Captain told me he landed three 12-15 pound Dorado and one medium sized Marlin.
We are staying at the brand new place this year and most of the rooms are already sold. Also, most of the better guides are already booked. I am looking forward to great year. If interested in lodging or guides shoot me an email and perhaps I could point you in the right direction.
