Why why is a biologist using not one, but two cotton gloves to hold that fish
There’s a great research video of a brook trout held by a landing glove then over a couple of weeks the tail slowly rotted off that fish. Brook trout are wimps.
And you wonder why Calif. don't have any fish? duh
That fish looks dryer than a popcorn fart!?! Fish outta water!
Well,
I'm sure that fish will die of something.........eventually.....but it prolaly wont be covid. Nice mask!

Biologists wear gloves to handle fish when the danger of them squirming around and dropping them causing injury exceeds the danger associated with slime removal. Pretty simple concept really.
