Since I have not been able to get on the water recently, I have been reduced to living vicariously through the pictures and stories of my fishing friends. I have been sent these 2 pictures over the past weeks which I just had to share . . .

Thankfully not laid up. A combo of being very busy at work and very sadly, the unexpected passing of my 30 year old son-in-law to Sudden Cardiac Arrhythmia. We have been busy helping our daughter and granddaughter move back into our house, and cleaning their house up for sale. It is another lesson in enjoying each and every day of our lives, because we do not know what cards life will deal us.

I have a bit of fishing lined up for the fall when things slow down.

Very sorry to hear about the passing. That is so sad. Never put off a day fishing right.. You never know.
I'm guessing that looks like the EW... But wherever it is I wish I was there right now!
