    Default Highway 88 Fly Patterns

I'll be heading up to fish Silver lake, Caples lake, Red Lake, and possibly caples creek. Any advice on what patterns to try up there around mid July? I have grown up bait fishing these lakes and have yet to try fly fishing them. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks a bunch!

A rust color Wiggle nymph has worked well in all of those lakes for me. don't leave home without ants also. When in doubt fish a Prince nymph.

I'd try terrestrials like ants, beetles, and grasshoppers and Parachute Adams size 14-18 because they look like a lot of winged insects found in those parts. If you hit Silver Lake, bring an extra spinning rod, nightcrawlers and bobbers incase flies don't work, because nothing works better between 5 and 6PM and this method is good for a couple of fish.
