I think the Fly Fishers of Davis, California do an annual trip to an RV camp ground near or on Hebgen Lake every August as one of their club trips.

Although it's been many, many years since I've fished Silver, my brother and I used to hit Silver on the way up and back from Montana. We did this for 27 years during late September and early October. One nymph that you may want to try is a GREEN Sawyer PT. Although green doesn't seem like a natural color, the fish at Silver seemed to like it. One day I caught a 22 inch brown on a size 16 PT and then followed it up with a 20 incher. Since our trips were during the Fall, the green Sawyer PT may not work at this time of the year but it may be worth a try if other flies aren't working. P.S. Like everyone else, I envy you!
