This could be a long list or a short one.

Traditional BH Comet style flies - Boss, Gold and Silver Comet and Flame

    Bead head woolly buggers

    New Spey patterns

    Leeches

Terry Thomas at the shop has a lot of background in this area.

Being there at the right time is the most important thing.

**One time I asked Herb Burton about a winter Steelhead pattern. He said something black with a bright spot on it for attraction.

When I go up there. I use black and blue leeches about 2" long with some attractor strips like Bill said.

    Good Aron,

I think when you get a fly that you have confidence in, you just fish it.

Black and blue is a new hot color for Steelhead.

    Jake,
The Eel has many great sections for swinging flies.
Do you have the StreamTime map for the Eel.
Kiene's shop carries it. A terrific investment
    for under $10.
    Best to you,

Comets, Boss, size 6 or 8, red orange chartreuse. I fished it a week ago, good times. Eureka fly shop can set you up with all the latest dope.
