That's an interesting design but I'm not sure I'd like to have that center divider running the length of the deck. As I recall, at some of the home made, wooden prams used on the north coast were called a Toro. They were about 6' to 7' in length, same V hull and had a bench seat with a seat back in it for comfort. Storage space on the deck behind the seat. They were really tricked out. Apparently, they were stable as I saw many fly guys standing in them while casting in the Eel/Mad River estuaries. Easily transported in the bed of a pick-up. Wonder if they're still around (since I last saw one in the early 80's)???
