So did you catch any fish?

Chris, I think in the near future we need to fish together. I think we both have a lot more in common than not. Maybe we can share some secret spots with each other when the fishing is real hot, and we can write a colabrative haiku about it. Net some fish for each other.
Let's stay in touch pm wise.

Can someone educate me on the uses of a furled leader? Do you use them for dry fly fishing as well as nymphing? Any recommendations of ones to buy?

Ryan here's a link I think you might like about furled leaders.
    http://midcurrent.com/knots/a-case-f...furled-leader/

I like them for dry fly casting. I make mine about 12 feet long and I use trilene 2lb mono then nail knot 4x Tippett to that.
I grease them with floatant and they make a really smooth casting transition from mainline to the fly they can feel like a spider web to cast. If you live in the bay area swing by my shop and I can help ya make one on my jig. And or you can make a jig as well super easy.
Also there great they last along time and you can make them whatever length you want.
