    Got ripped with this same setup last week! Never saw the fish , instantly into my backing around 50 yards! Big a$$ fish, not sure if it was a big Striper or Steelhead? Thinking it was the steel do to how fast the fish took off, ended up wrapping me on something Holy sh*#... That's Fishin! That's why I love the American, it could happen any time of the year!

    Depending upon what size that top fly was I bet it was a big ol' striper. If it was tied small it sure would look like a baby squawfish and that's striper candy everywhere.

    Now I'm not saying it couldn't have been a big steelie either but I'd put my money on a striper. Yep, striper!
