It always saddens me hear this, thieves such as this will someday get their just deserts, so we hope. I have an alarm system as well as LOJACK on my vehicle and it gives me some peace of mind, but if thieves want something bad enough they will not be deterred by minor details.

My truck was found two days ago and I was able to pick it up yesterday. Luckily, it's largely undamaged. Just dirty with cigarettes and junk food wrappers.

As for gear, they cleaned it out for mostly but oddly they left the fly rods/tubes and boots. I had a couple of large flattened cardboard boxes in there that they decided were worth more than the rods

Anyway, that I got the rods back is huge! I've edited the list below...

My Landcruiser was stolen earlier this week in San Francisco and I had a bunch of gear in it... I filed a report with the SFPD, so they are on the look out. The truck has dark tinted windows so I don't think it was taken for the gear, in any case, I thought I'd ask folks here to keep a look out for my stuff.

I know its a longshot, but if you happen to see anyone trying to sell this stuff I'd appreciate an email or call.
