Default Suggestions for an overnight trip

    Looking for some suggestions….
One of my goals for the year is to learn how to fish for trout in a stream. I plan on doing an overnight trip April 11/12 and would like some suggestions on streams to fish. I would prefer: 1) Somewhere I am unlikely to run across another person. 2) A drive within 2ish hours of Sac. Thanks for any suggestions.

Sorry Ted but you are late to your own party if you want to go on April 11/12. But I would suggest Silverfork, just park and hike up stream until you find a nice spot, set up camp and keep hiking up stream.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

    Ted,
How 'bout the Upper Sac? Invest in the StreamTime map ($5). Lots of spots with
    fishy water.

Time flies I suppose. I guess i'll go May 11 &12. Thanks for the tips, I think I may try the silver fork, it looks like there are some secluded areas back there.
    Thanks,
    Ted
