    Default quick trip ideas, please

got the green light to get out a few days mid-week next week...

would prefer to be a quiet area as I need a break from humanity to recharge.

Have a float tube so bass or still water trout would work. Wading or hike-in fishing too. Any ideas or suggestions would be welcomed. Prefer to stay withing 3-4 hours of walnut creek area.

    Thanks in advance!

I think it might be a tad further than 3-4 hours but if it were me I think I'd head to the Pitt, high flows and all even. I'm totally out of the loop in terms of still water or bass fishing though, so this is just what I think of in terms of stream fishing when I think of a quiet place to get away from "humanity". The North Yuba could also be really nice, but I think it might still be a bit too cold for productive fishing? Total guess there.
Good luck, hope you have a great trip

I would do a bass pond or trout lake.

    Streams are probably to cold.

Our river fishing has actually been really good as of late. Weekends are a little crowded, but there's been some nice mayfly and stonefly hatches.
