Good article!! Seems that SoCal, in general, is moving towards solutions much faster than we say we are in NorCal.... IMO, in spite of all the population issues, SoCal doesn't get enough credit for their efforts.

Hey, Hey!!!! I wasn't sure Poseidon would ever gain final approval.... Good news!!! The cost per ACF seems high but it's still favorable when you consider that the lower cost alternative involves destruction of the Delta and Colorado River environments. The low estimated increase in cost per household seems to be acceptable since it looks like the impacts on water availability during drought years down there will be minimized.
Maybe an unintended consequence of this will be to force the Feds/State to recognize that they sell water at prices so far below market value that it constitutes an entitlement for agri-business. Damn!!! Where else can you buy an ACF of water for $50.00....
It's probably too much to ask, but maybe this will result in a recognition by these agencies that their ridiculously low pricing structure has contributed to stalling use of available technological solutions for progress and to solve our water problems.
