    Question Stuff....

Larry,.... you probably know this already but if you bookmark the Forum instead of coming in thru the website, you by-pass all of the clutter you mentioned....

For Gregg, Way too much dead space overall. Also, it seems to me that the extra steps required to make a post are a bit confusing at first. When making a post, the quick reply dialogue box comes up first. Then, choosing the go advanced button to post. Yesterday, I tried to use the "quick reply" function but when I returned to view the thread, I found that reply/post wasn't there. Not sure if I did something incorrectly or just had a senior moment....

ps. One thing I found helpful in the prior edition was that when I logged on, new PMs were shown in a box. Now, in order to see if there are any new PMs, it requires checking "notifications, each time. Another extra step.

    Here's what we did:
    • Refreshed the overall design of the entire website
    • Updated the messageboard software so that it is more secure.
    • Removed a lot of the stale content from the old site.
    • Setup the site so that the staff at Kiene's can update it easier.
    • Created some new content (use the menu up top to view)
    • Added a blog (Blog)
    • Created an Events calendar for classes and events.
    • Put up our 360 google Virtual Tour of the store (About Us)
    • Published some of the Testimonials from various social media websites (About Us)
    • Created a new staff directory (About Us - Staff)
    • Build a form so that people can send Kiene's and email directly from the website (Contact Us)
    • Published bios of all our Instructors (Instruction - Instructors)
    • Added our travel services (Travel)
    • Made our resources easier to find (Resources - Articles, Fisheries, Guides).
    • Our Online Shop is more integrated with our website (Online Shop)
    • And finally put some sweet images on our homepage in a slide show.

    Darian,
Thanks; for some reason I was just coming in a different door and saw those pics.
    Hope you're doing well.

I noticed that there is a new 'Auto Saved' feature......I like that.

Sometimes late at night I might start on a 'small novel' post and then some how loose it.......darn.

This will save me.........it just did it again.

Down in lower right corner of this box in red...it flashes if you take very long to write your post.

Our Web Master, Gregg Machel, got the headers of the top of the posts narrowed down some now.

    Quick request:

There's a seemingly redundant "Forum" button at the top of the page directly above the New Posts button. On my iPad and iPhone browser, the Forum button shadows the New Posts button which prevents me from using it. Can this button be removed/relocated?

    Thanks!

Okay. Here's one. In the "Resources" section, under "Fisheries," the Rogue River is misspelled. The best new feature
is, hands down, the "auto save." Great job all!
