gangster,
I am thinking of heading up next week so post a report on water conditions.
I have always done well on a black AP nymph both in Burney wild and Planted sections. I still think below the falls to Lake Britton may be the prettiest place I have ever fished. Caddis dries are good here to.
Upper Hat Caddis dries and Prince nymphs for the Brookies work well.
Have not done to well on the portion of the Hat below the Powerhouses so I dont have much advice here.
Good luck, I love it at this time of year...Not to many people and beautiful scenery.
Craig.
p.s. Last I heard Baum Lake had been drained to fix the dam so call ahead before you fish here.
