    Default Silver Lake or Tahoe

    Does anyone know if Silver or Red Lake is frozen over. If they are, would it be worth fishing Tahoe since I might be up that way for Super Bowl weekend?

    Default Silver or Tahoe Lakes....????

    Brrrrrrr,..... JR, the thread, below, about caples Lake indicates that it is frozen over. Silver and Red Lakes are at altitudes and temp range that would be frozen over, also..... Call a fly shop or guide service in the Tahoe area for better info.

    I was just up there last week and unless you have an auger and a short rod I would say don't go. All the lakes are frozen over till spring!
