New Zealand - guide recommendations for the South Island?

Hi folks

Im lucky enough to be planning a trip to New Zealand in a couple weeks. We'll be cruising around the South Island for a couple weeks, should be a lot of fun. Does anyone have any recommendations for guides on the South Island? Any other local knowledge on specific rivers, access points, etc? I'll be sure to post a report with some pictures.
