I fished from 7am to 2pm. I worked my usuall areas for 8 fish to 21". Only one dink most fish 17-19". I found them at the breaks from 12' dropping off to 20', and in the shallows chasing small fish. When I cast into the tules in very shallow areas 4-5' you had to be ready one strip then bam! I can't go far...but the area I go has a lot of different areas and the fish always seem to be around one of the different types of structure depending on the water temp. Sometimes in the deep holes sometimes on the shallow flats sometimes on the breaks (depth) sometimes on the current breaks. I don't know too much about what I am doing but I am learning and it is a blast.

Sounds like you got a pretty good handle on it. There are some who have fished it long that have retained MUCH less!

I think you can get addicted to the Delta.

I also think you can fish down there almost year round too.

andanb, sounds like you know exactly what you're doing. I'd certainly be happy with 7 fish from 17" - 21".
