Granite Bay Flycaster's 'Swap Meet & Chili Cook-off'....

Everyone is invited to this great annual event held out at their club house at Granite Bay on Folsom Lake on Saturday, December 2nd from 9:00am till Noon.

They have had members of other fly clubs attend both as sellers and buyers and a fly shop or two is usually there with some incredible deals.


There will be lots of fly fishing related products there and some home made great chili too.

Setup will start at 7:00am for Swappers and Cookers.

Marilyn and I will be there with some 'super close-out goodies'.

Please excuse my stupidity here ......

Is this a CASH sale of new/used things , or do people actually SWAP gear , horsetrade , etc. ??? I feel goofy asking , but I've never been to one before .

It is mostly cash and carry but I would imagine a little trading does go on.

Should be a fun event.

I imagine Sturmer will be there plus other good GBF people.
