Okay,

Someone throw me a bone please.

Well, even if you can't post a pic, that is a pretty cool bug. Can I have one? Hope to get with you on the water as soon as the fish decide to show up.

Mike & Mike,
I am very sad about the lack of our Halfpounders this Fall.
I know if you two aren't getting any, they probably aren't any around.

It's not for lack of trying Bill. I've been out a couple of times a week looking for them little buggers. I did get one around 15" last week fishing with Jason, but that's it so far this fall.

MSP - you can have two if I can remember what I used for the soft hackle, I'll let you know when they are done. Lets fish after TG, I'll take a long lunch some mid morning.
Bill - I don't know if I'm sad yet or not. The season has been pretty slow thus far and I hope this is just a high water/el nino thing kinda year. Plus the river bottom has changed so much in all my favorite places now I need to find new ones. The trouble is that I had it dialed-in so that I could hit it for a houror two door to door and have a reasonable chance of catching something. Now I have to spend the time relearning the river, I thought I knew it all. :) If they aren't here they'll be back, I hope.

That's a good looking fly Mike! I think I'm gonna try that right now!
