Gene and I went on my boat out of Rouso's we launced @ about 2pm just after the rain.. fished the top of the track and gene picked up a couple of stripers and a lmb we then fished Piper and gene picked up a couple around 3#s while Gene kept up the quanity I only put three four fish in the boat 2dinks, a 6# strip and 1Lmb about 2#.. amazingly we did all that fished untill about 10:30pm and didn't even get rained on.

Paul, glad to see someone's out fishing. You did well considering the conditions. The wind really blew for a good part of the morning and conditions didn't improve until later in the day.

Friday was a much better day with a hot bite through the morning. Fishing slowed down in the late afternoon with the approach of the weather front.

Conditions improved slightly on Sunday and the fish were much more willing than Saturday.

The fish are scattered throughout the entire delta and fishing any shallow water with a slight flow seems to produce at least a few fish.
