    Default Yuba River 11/10

Fished the Yuba for a few hours the other day and the trout were definatly on the reds. If you could find salmon, the trout were right behind them. Nothing extremely large, 16-18 average. All good healthy fish. The rainbows are not so slinky anymore with more food in the river. The trout I caught were eating reds, small golden stones and caddis pupa. Fishing was good in the AM, seemed to slow a bit when the sun hit the water. Mainly fished a peach colored egg, that seemed to be the right color. All in all, best day I have had on the Yuba all year.
May the holes in your net be no larger than the fish in it.

Those salmon eggs should really be good for those Rainbows.

    Sounds good.
