    Default October Caddis Pupa

I took this picture in the morning on the Trinity river a couple of weeks ago. The pupa was just "resting" on the rock, strange but convenient!

Maybe because the water flows dropped quickly, before the pupa was ready to emerge? Who knows?

    Enjoy

    Adam,

That's actually normal. Discos usually crawl out of the stream and emerge like the larger stoneflies.
