    Default Lake Davis yesterday

    Tried Davis yesterday (Sat) after reading a glowing report about improving bite... right- 15 tubes in the morning in camp 5 area and one fish caught. I was in my little pram and could cover more water- resorted to trolling with buggers and managed 7 bows, only one was a guality fish around 4lbs. The others were recent plants. Had a pike throw the hook at the boat. The weather was beautiful all day.

    I started off at Jenkins for a couple of hours with no grabs so I moved up to Fairview and only had one grab.Glowing reports definately had a lot of folks fishing,but not many catching.Jay
