Here is a report on the Deschutes River from the Caddis Fly Shop in Eugene, OR:

The Deschutes is fishing extremely well for steelhead all the way up to Warm Springs. There are more steelhead in the river than we have seen in a long time. They are grabing on traditional steelhead wet flies, but are also keyed in on small trout nymphs. The nymphing for trout is not great currently due to the large number of steelhead pushing the trout out of their normal holding water, however, the dry fly fishing in the eddies is off the charts.
