    Default Pike Fly

I just finished up tying 6 pike flys. Not exactly the same color as the one shown in the photo but similar body style.
I gotta start searching for some premium white deer hair for spinning. I threw away three full deer hides when I move from salinas to freno. The hair was around 3" in length.

I'm also looking for a spool of Hard Mason 25lb. Has anyone seen the big spools in any of the fishing tackle shops

    GRAND bug!
Done in baitfish colors, it would prololy be a killer later on a sinking line pulled down the face of some rip-rap for Mr. stripes too.
Tween that and the pig boats, we just may have to venture out and tye some more stuff. But THEN, oh! the decisions.....THIS one or THAT one? The one with the tails curved in or the one with the tails curved out? As feeble minded as we are, our fishing time would surely be drastically deminished!
