Roger Bloom from the CA DF&G said some retired CA DF&Gers who have gone for many years to Loreto, Baja just came back saying it was the best in many years for Dorado.
What have you heard?

Hi Bill,.... check out the fly fishing reports from:

Large, individual Dorado and some opportunities to play with Sailfish.
The only objection to going down there at this time of year is timing your trip to avoid tropical storms and/or Pacific hurricanes.... Even i they don't get a direct hit, they're impacted by the fringes....

Yeah.. back in July we had to cancel a day on the Panga there because of the Chubasco working up the West Coast of Baja.. 12 to 14 ft. swells... No way ~ Thank You!!!
Notice My Good friend LEE BAERMANN is responsible for the Big Dorado there with his "BULL CANDY" Pattern???? That's Lee with a Sizable Dorado He caught while We were down there last month (his picture is Next to the Close up of the "Bull Candy")...
This year is certainly the best it's been in a Number of Years..
Pam Bolles , Owner of Baja Big Fish, stated while we were down there that the Dorado Blitz may last into November!!!!! Sooo one could Certainly look to Booking some Panga time after the first of Oct. and be past the Chubasco season.... :P
