    Default Putah Creek

Here are just some of the nice pics I've got this year of some nice trout in one of my favorite streams, It's mainly my favorite stream because it's only 15 minutes away from my house in Vacaville!

Here's a typical summer rainbow, wild of course ..

This is a nice 18" bow I caught of a size 22 serendipity!

Here is another rainbow I caught in early June

This bad rainbow right here was one hell of a fight! also caught in June, off another tiny tiny fly. These putah creek trout love the small flies!

And here are just some nice nature pics I've taken in the past year of the seasons at the good ol putah creek..

I was just board and thought i'd share some pics that have been sittin on my computer for hella long.. enjoy!

Thanks for the report and photos.

That is an amazing tail-water fishery.

We were just talking about floating the lower section below the camp ground and picnic area were the lower bridge crosses.

We still have the NZ mud snail issue.

Actually it runs from Lake Solano Dam all the way to the town of Davis and beyond. Down that way it is a warm water fishery.
