The water is low and lower water flies for steelhead are the ticket.
Purples and blacks, Low water Green Butt skunk, Skunk and then the purples like the frieght train and a purple Steelhead muddler were the ticket for me. Hook size was #6 or 8.

Water was low and clear... I used a 9 foot leader with 2-3 foot of tippet.
I used both siking lines (intermediate) and floating line. Caught fish on both methers. Early morning I fished floating line, then switched to the sink tip as it got brighter and was able to fish for a couple of hours after the sun hit the water. Caught fish some days between 11:30am and 1:00pm

Evenings, I used floating line only (except on the windiest days)
Averaged a fish per day.

Water temps were 62*F for the entire week. Never varying more than a degree either way.

Good time as usual.

Thanks,

Fred"
