Default What to do with Llama ??????

    Hi everyone -

Just got a pile of Llama from Jay Murakoshi (thanks again , Jay) - I've never seen/used it before , and was a bit suprised to find that it comes pre-cut in a rope form ...... I was expecting it to be hair on a chunk of skin .

Just wondering ..... how does everybody else use it ?? I can see tying it like a Popovics 3-D fly , or reverse-tying it in to form bodies , but I haven't seen much in print about using Llama . Any input ????

    Thanks !!

    David,

Alot of people who use llama hair tie it in linear form. They make bait fish patterns. I use a dubbing machine to make my brushes and then wrap the brush on the hook shank, trim to shape.

I think Doug Swisher still use llama hair or something similar to the material. I'm trying to remember all the websites that use to have patterns. A Nor-Vise can be used like a dubbing machine. Just have to work with it
