Shad are still on the A.

Although the number of people fishing for them are down, there are still shad on the American, especially in the upper river. The last hour of light has been fairly productive using a floating line and a size 10 Prince nymph. I even caught on yesterday afternoon down at Goethe on a Clouser I was using for stripers.

Hey Jeff,

Did you catch any stripes there? Were you around the bridge when you caught that shad?? That's where I fish for them and a floating line with anything on it was working pretty well last time out.... I mean I heard the fish rise to the fly a few times...
