You just knew today was going to be a fishy day in the delta. You could see the cloud cover coming. I delayed my trip out of town untill 12:00 pm so I could fish the morning. I got on the water at first light and the top water bite was off the charts from 5:30 to 10:30 got 20+ fish to come to the fly landed over 15 fish to 6lbs.
Called Captain Kev at 6:00 because he was guiding last night and I knew he might be late to rise. Captain got on the water and he was into fish by 7:30 the bite was epic.
Captain Kev will fill in details I am sure, multiple 4lbers
landed.
Today is/was the day as Joe S says.

Carlo, awesome! As I was driving to work this morning and noticed the cloud cover, I thought the very same thing! Also thought it would sure be nice if we had that cover for this Saturday's Event. Good for you, it's great to hear about some great topwater action in the Delta.
