Saturday, day 16, we lazed around and took the boat out about eight. I wanted to get some rock fishing in after all the Dorado action of the day before. We drove out to Pt. Concepcion and I fished a number of points. The tide was pretty much slack and the fish weren't turned on at all. I managed two huge triggers and three taco bass and bunches of grabs and misses, probably smaller triggers, but no great numbers for the day.

Today, Sunday, day 17 is election day in Mexico. We decided to shut down as well. We had been out to neighbors for dinner and didn't get in until 10:30 and so we're sitting in out little one room casita with the a/c and fans going, keeping cool. We'll probably drive around later and visit old friends we haven't seen yet.

Tomorrow I'm scheduled to depart the docks at 5:45am with a fellow that's coming in tonight with a 23 footer and see if I can help him find some fish. I'll bring a conventional rod and my ten weight and camera of course.
