Truckee area

Any reports on the Truckee or Little T lately? I'll be up there from Wednesday til Friday, so any word on what's going on would be appreciated. I'll post a report next week.
Anyone else going to be fishing up there this week?

Went to the little truckee on the 20th. Had 1 to hand and lost 5, all in the 14" to 18" range. The water was up a bit and clear. All the takes were on the swing and on a size 20 baetis. I only fished from 9:30 to 12:00 and then hit the truckee for a couple hours. On the truckee I landed 1 about 17" on a caddis nymph and then it was time to go. It was perfect because I never saw a sole on either river. Good luck on your trip.

Check flows, they just got buped mega on the main truckee and we've been getting a lot of thundershowers lately. That will put a lot more pressure on the Little T.

Flows are 1,800 at the town of Truckee. If you aren't used to, or interested in, fishing high water, I would fish elsewhere until flows are back down to 500-700.
