Just checking on the local scene. I was sitting by the pool (day off) wondering how the shad season is going. Hopefully, I plan on hitting the rivers when I get home. Are there any stripers in the river.

Hopefully the shad will pull like the roosters.

so far the shad have been hit and miss (for me at least ) one day it's pretty good, then the next day very slow. I have seen some bait guys catching stripers, but couldn't tell how big they were. I bet that by the time you're back it will be jumpin'

did fair on the upper river tonight fo a couple hours of fishing. i dont know if its the cold flows or i'm just findin some nice hens but damn these fish are strong right now.
