    Default need help making professional product photos!!

    I Am Newby to camera's , and need help taking professional demo shots of products! The below photo's were on a white surface with a overhead light, plus a second light:

    The main thing i see is that they are not in focus. Maybe put the camera on manual focus and do it yourself,
    as the autofocus is not always the best. Besides that take a look at other websites and see what they have
    done. Here are some good examples.

    most modern digital cameras have a macro mode, its for a sharper focus on close up shots. it could be that your shutter speed is too slow but forcing a flash might put a bright reflection on the packaging. I would mount the camera on a tripod and use a detatched light source and use the cameras self timer mode to avoid touching the camera during the shot.
