Any Shad in the Upper River?

I was wondering if there have been any reports of shad above Sunrise? I know that a few have been caught between Gristmill and Watt but haven't heard of anything in the upper part of the river. I'm trying to figure out where to go this weekend to take advantage of the reduced flow.

Yesterday was a good day for gear guys with shad darts at Harrington access. Today was much slower, but a few small fish caught before noon. The hot color right now is pink. I would bet that there are fish all the way up now with more arriving daily.

I fished upper Sunrise today from 3-5. Nice flows, good to be back in the water, clarity, also good. Fish, not so much but that's not saying much either. I didn't see anything when I was out, even from the observation deck/ trail.
