Aloha, I was camping on the big island down at Halape and I saw the same thing. The papio were cruising in on the waves with their mouths open feeding on bait fish. I got a nice omilu on a squid fly. It was very cool to see them feeding. Look at the fish in the picture they are after food in the back of the wave. Many times I will cast behind the wave and strip in the trough. Cool picture, mahalo, Mems.
