Bass fishing today
After seeing all you guys post reports about bass fishing I had to give it a try on my lake today........Boy did I have fun! I caught about 20 or so bass, that's my guess cause I lost count, not that I was trying very hard. My black crystal leach ripped a ton of lips. I love that fly, very productive when fishing for bass.
This is that simple crystal leech.
I also caught my first chunk bluegill of the year, I'm very pleased.
Here's one of the bass from today, nothin huge, but it was fun.

Bluegill????
Wow!!! That Bluegill looks bigger than the Bass!!!! That's better fishin' than lookin' for somethin' in the local rivers right now.

Sounds like a blast! A nice lake to go bassin' with a flyrod right in your backyard...sounds a little bit like heaven to me.
