Default Cameron park report , 4/15

Hit the 'lake' for a couple today .

Three little Largemouth to around 12 inches , all on a small beadhead RUST Leech . Water vis. shitto (less than 12 inches) and temps were , suprise !!! WARM !! Wind pretty rough , air temps were dropping while we fished .

    That's it !!

If we get a few sunny days in a row it should get better fast.

We will have to have an evening BB barbque/fishout after the Expo.

    Maybe in a few weeks?

That sounds like fun. If I have the time I'm game for that. Unfortunately I cannot make it to the expo. Good luck with the expo Bill.

    Hey David,

I hit Folsom yesterday with almost the same results. Caught 4 small ones and lost another using a clouser.

Hey David, good to hear you got out there. Is that the little leech pattern you were using when we were creekin' for smallies last summer? Wonder how that thing would do in a size 2. . . .

Since they closed the Delta to ALL boating, including paddle boats and float tubes, and it was windy, I, ahem, worked a stretch of levy yesterday with a spinning rod and a Senko. Ended up with 4 bass to 14" (all were 12" or better) and a 10" crappie. It was like riding a bike.
